Students read historically reflective narrative profiles related to the events and aftermath of September 11 to engage in leadership as a lived experience.
Students will explore how Al-Qaeda developed over time and examine how conflict, ideology, networks, resources, and individual choices contributed to its rise.
Students will examine intelligence available before 9/11 and explore how incomplete information, agency silos, and uncertainty made an emerging threat difficult to recognize and act upon.
