Race for Remembrance – 9/11 Tribute Run – Pentagon VA to New York NY

Join us for the inspiring Race for Remembrance – 9/11 Tribute Run, taking place from September 8 to September 11, 2025, as we honor the memory of those lost on September 11, 2001. This remarkable event kicks off in Arlington, Virginia, where participants will gather to remember the 184 victims who tragically lost their lives.

Over the course of four days, the Tribute Run will cover an impressive 270 miles, transitioning from Arlington to New York City. The journey begins with a grueling 110-mile trek through Washington, D.C., and into Pennsylvania, followed by a 69-mile run on Day 2. Runners will continue through New Jersey, crossing the Goethals Bridge into Staten Island on Day 3, before completing the final 3.6 miles together to the Staten Island Ferry on Day 4. This heartfelt journey culminates in a solemn prayer vigil at Zuccotti Park, arriving just before the first plane hit at 8:46 AM on September 11.

Participants can expect a supportive atmosphere with van transportation, lodging at the Navy Lodge, a commemorative shirt, and opportunities for fundraising and awareness for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
